“ Heard great things about this place and had to give it a try. We ordered a plate of fried turkey wings with candied yams and collard greens (pictured), grilled shrimp with mac & cheese and green beans (pictured), fried conch with a side of seafood rice (not pictured), and their mystery drink (made of lemonade, a blue and strawberry drink, plus a secret juice). Everything was overall delicious, but we had our favorites. The turkey wings were fried nicely, the yams were not too sweet and the collard greens and green beans were tasty. We enjoyed the macaroni and the fried conch was great too. I would not get the seafood rice again. It wasn't terrible, just that the rice wasn't fresh rice and had too many crab shells. The mystery drink was delicious. I see why it's popular. Overall 4 stars and will return for some soul food. ”
“ I've been wanting to try this place for a while & it was decent. If you're someone who gets cold easily bring a sweater!! Lol but this spot is your average soul food restaurant. The fried shrimp was really good, well seasoned. I wasn't crazy about the steak because it was cooked well done & I personally prefer medium or medium well. The Mac n cheese, lobster and green beans were really good! The mystery drink was super sweet and reminded me of kool aide. Our waitress Kayla was nice too. ”
“ I’m pregnant and was craving soul food. First time eating from here and highly satisfied. We ordered our food for pickup and the food was ready on time. The food was amazing. My fiancé and I got baked mac and cheese, collard greens with smoked turkey, yams, fried shrimp and fingalickin wings. Everything was tasty and great portions of the food was served…The red velvet cake was fresh. Oh how could I forget about the famous mystery drink…. Very delicious…. You won’t be disappointed…. ”
“ Ordered the fried Talapia, string beans & mac. Took my chances with the mystery cake, 2go. Fish was great, moist, adequately seasoned. Green beans not overcooked & a tad sweet. Mac was ok. Cake was incredibly dry. Server appeared bothered & kitchen staff entered and exited the restroom with gloves on! Reminded me of a soulfood McDonald's with trap music. ”
